We are always looking for volunteers that want to share their love of Lawrence and insider knowledge with visitors from out of town. Our volunteers are an important part of our work to share the experience of this unmistakable town and help visitors see for themselves. We assist visitors in finding fun things to do and places to go, as well as assisting other staff at eXplore Lawrence in their work to provide a positive experience for those visiting Lawrence for the first time or the 100th! Volunteers would help man the desk when paid staff is out of the building, assist visitors in finding information on Lawrence, provide general support to paid staff activities, assist in small sales of souvenirs, and would have the opportunity to support special projects and events as available (e.g. envelope stuffing, mobile info stations, etc).
