LAWRENCE, KS – Today, eXplore Lawrence announced the release of the 2022 Unmistakably Lawrence Visitors Guide. The guide serves as the premier printed piece for inspiring travel planning to and within Lawrence, Kansas.

After taking a one-year break from producing the guide due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2022 guide brings back the fun through a gameboard-inspired design. Follow Bahozhoni (on the cover) and Caleb as they navigate the town on their scooter.

Personal essays from Lawrencians about their favorite places give a glimpse into what makes Lawrence unmistakable. Allen Fieldhouse, Sanders Mound, and Love Garden Sounds are among the favorite places highlighted.

The 2022 Unmistakably Lawrence Visitors Guide also includes:

  • Getting Around Downtown and Beyond
  • Places to Explore and more about them
  • Black-Owned Restaurants
  • QR Codes for online events calendar and complete restaurant listings
  • Accommodations Listings
  • City Map

eXplore Lawrence worked with Sunflower Publishing to create the 2022 Visitors Guide.

“We are happy to have a new Visitors Guide to add to our toolbox and help us fulfill our mission of attracting more visitors, events, and conventions to our city,” stated eXplore Lawrence Executive Director Kim Anspach. “The guide joins a new website and videos aimed at increasing tourism to Lawrence and aiding in the ongoing recovery of Lawrence’s travel and hospitality industry.”
