Lawrence Tourism Ambassador Program

The Tourism Ambassador Program provides locals and staff at hospitality businesses with the knowledge and resources needed to make a positive impact on the Lawrence visitors' experience. 

The 2-hour class consists of information about how eXplore Lawrence attracts visitors and events to our city, the importance of tourism to the local economy, and local facts and trivia, followed by 60-minute tour of the hosting facility. Each class is hosted at a different Lawrence attraction. 

Once completed, the new Ambassador is awarded an eXplore Lawrence pin and walks away equipped with information to share with visitors to Lawrence. Ambassadors are invited to attend the tours at all future classes.
