A traveling exhibit exploring John Brown's life and legacy through the eyes of those who knew him.

Groups are invited to be among the first to see the exhibit when it makes its debut at the Watkins Museum of History in Historic Downtown Lawrence, Kansas. Spend a day or two exploring the Bleeding Kansas story and enjoying Lawrence and surrounding communities with these itinerary suggestions.
Mornings are reserved just for groups for the Encountering John Brown national traveling exhibit in the Watkins Museum of History. Don’t miss the rest of the museum to get more of the story.

Guided exploration of prints from the portfolio Legend of John Brown, by Jacob Lawrence, and possibly other works related to John Brown. Self-guided tours of Museum galleries will be available in October.
