Lawrence, KS, February 21, 2025 – eXplore Lawrence, the organization dedicated to increasing economic development by attracting visitors, conventions, and events to our city, is proud to announce the two national marketing awards from North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA). NATJA announced on February 21st that eXplore Lawrence was awarded an Honorable Mention for their 2024 visitors guide and a Bronze Award for the Lawrence Summer of Fun Campaign.
The North American Travel Journalists Association Travel Media Awards Competition just completed its 33rd competition. Awards were made to publications, travel journalists, photographers, and destination marketing organizations. The judges for the competition consisted of award-winning newspaper and magazine editors as well as educators from across journalism disciplines. To qualify for the competition, work had to be published between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024.
